About Us
CyberSoft International is a division of CyberSoft Operating Corporation. Both are the result of a reorganization of Cybersoft, Inc. in 2002. CyberSoft was established in 1988. As a long standing member of the security software business, we have been credited for many industry firsts. Here are a few of them.
- VFind becomes the world’s first heterogeneous virus scanner in 1990.
- In 1990 CyberSoft provided the world’s first multi-engine UNIX anti-virus technology.
- CVDL pattern analysis system was invented in 1992.
- Created the world’s first commercial cryptographic integrity file management in 1991.
It is this core technology that has been allowing federal and commercial organizations to reduce virus attacks, unauthorized network intrusions, unauthorized file access, and other security breaches. There are also numerous patents pending on current and future technologies. CyberSoft has enjoyed our tenure as the hidden security solution of the UNIX world for a long time. We believe it is now time for us to reveal ourselves and bring our expertise to everyone. Since our target market has primarily been the military and experienced UNIX administrators, we needed a radical organizational change. We decided that establishing a focused branch in the company would allow us to continue creating military robust solutions based on real concerns. In September 2002, we created the CyberSoft International division to bring the benefits of our products to other markets.
CSI is responsible for establishing sales channels, partnerships, product marketing, and managing product development. It will have focus on continually enhancing usability and ensuring the product meets the needs of its users. It is the goal of CSI to offer utilities that help improve the enjoyment or efficiency of your PC experience.
