Upgrade your VFind Security ToolKit (VSTK)

Why is it so important to renew if you already haven't? The importance is very simple; VSTK is the best defense against viruses. It is vital to keep your computer protected from current viruses and other threats! It can also provide other options that include:

  • VSTK upgrades are essential to maintaining optimal protection of your system
  • With each new release of VSTK, there are improvements in the CVDL language that enhance VFind's pattern matching capabilities, improvements and additions to our scanning engine.
  • Performance improvements and reduced memory requirements optimize the use of your system.

CyberSoft listed three and there are many more reasons to make you consider upgrading your VSTK software. Most importantly, upgrade to the latest version of VSTK/P for free if your maintenance and support contract is up-to-date. Remember, VSTK features security and administration set of tools and is more than just an antivirus scanner. While most of the VFind users already have maintenance and support contracts, remember to upgrade if you have not!

CyberSoft will announce a new product - VSTK-OEM

VSTK-OEM is an upgrade from the dependable PatternAuthority product offering an OEM the fastest parallel scanning technology for analyzing data patterns with extremely flexible licensing agreements.

CyberSoft has been gearing up for months to support security software developers and their mission to help IT departments consolidate data scanning. VSTK-OEM has been developed with our core VFind technology as its foundation. It is designed to easily integrate into existing products that scan for virus threats, spam, spyware or compliance. Essentially, it will properly scan data that passes through it for threat signals or other unwanted data.

With the release of VSTK-OEM, an OEM can consolidate all of their scanning engines down to one engine. OEMs can rely on 15 years of development to limit the amount of development resource needed to maintain the core of their appliance. To help make it easier for an OEM to maintain, CyberSoft offers complete usage of its CVDL for an OEM to create and maintain a definition set. As CyberSoft continues to develop Virus and Spam definitions, OEMs can add value by creating definitions for additional threats such as spyware, compliance or additional spam. CyberSoft offers contracts that will guarantee pricing for multiple years so OEMs can better fix their costs when developing security solutions.
