SafeInternetEmail™ (SIE) 5.1 will introduce SpamAssassin on August 14th
CyberSoft SafeInternetEmail™ (SIE) Turbo version 5.0 improved the product's overall performance and increased message throughput while reducing memory requirements. In addition to blocking viruses, spyware, and spam using VDL and Bayesian technology, SIE 5.0 provides highly configurable and effective discretionary e-mail blocking. SIE version 5.1 will include SpamAssassin which will add additional spam filtering capabilities using weighted heuristic tests on mail headers and body text to identify spam. SpamAssassin is a highly regarded spam filter that, when used in conjunction with the current filtering capabilities in SIE, provides very effective and accurate methods for blocking spam.
CyberSoft will release VSTK 171 soon with new features
VFind™ Security ToolKit (VSTK) 171, which is an upgrade from the current VSTK 170, will be released on August 14th. VSTK 171 will improve reliability, functionality, performance and integration. With all these upgrades, VSTK 171 will require LESS memory. VSTK 171 will offer new features that meet Section 508 compliance criteria. Section 508 was enacted to eliminate barriers in information technology, to make available new opportunities for people with disabilities, and to encourage development of technologies that will help achieve these goals. The law applies to all Federal agencies when they develop, procure, maintain, or use electronic and information technology.
CyberSoft constantly works on finding ways to improve all of its products. Customers with current Maintenance and Support contracts will be eligible for a free VSTK 171 upgrade.
VFind™ continues to provide effective anti-virus testing
